BROMPTON THEN AND NOW
By Ben Levick

Then and Now ... how Brompton has changed over the years. These pages show Brompton as it was in the past and today. For photos of locations I have included a modern photo taken from as close to old one as possible for comparison. I have tried to match the modern view as closely as possible to the old one, but often an exact match is not possible due to modern buildings, roads, etc.

If you have access to any old (1980s or earlier) photographs of Brompton I would love to see them and maybe add them to these pages.

The images on these pages also appear on My Flickr page, where there are often larger versions of the images available. Above the photo on the Flickr page is a button labled "Actions" - simply click this and choose the "View all sizes" option in the drop down menu to see the larger versions.

These pages have been divided up by areas, just click on the name of the streets to see the images of those streets. Some parts of Brompton have more images than others, owing to the luck of which pictures have survived the test of time.
